    In a bowl, roughly mash chickpeas with a fork β€” keep some texture.

    Add avocado and continue mashing. Stir in lemon juice, garlic, parsley, olive oil, and chilli. Season well.

    Toast the sourdough until golden.

    Pile the chickpea and avocado mixture generously onto toast. Drizzle with a little extra olive oil and serve.
